A simple question ought to be pondered the day after the United States of America turns 250 years old; whose people are we? To whom do we belong? Are we God’s or some other’s? Do we serve Jesus or are we against Him?
The reality of our foundation, from Columbus to Plymouth, Declaration of Independence to colonial state constitutions, we have always been a nation founded under God for the purpose of the spread of the Gospel.
We have rebelled against the purpose and yet God has relented from wielding the axe against us; we cling today that if we turn from our sins and repent, He will be gracious to us and forgive us our sin and heal our land!
