Matthew 18:15-20
If we are not careful, we might be tempted to pluck Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18-20 straight from their respective contexts! Jesus is in no way granting some sort of sovereignty over God with man, but rather, Jesus demonstrates the power and sovereignty over man. We do not have the right to cause God to bind something but rather, the things that God has bound we recognize as a church that seeks to honor Him as our All-In-All!
