“Parable of the Unforgiving Servant”

Matthew 18:21-35

It is often said that “an unforgiving heart is an unforgiven heart” – while we often harbor ill will and unforgiveness towards our neighbors, it is important to recognize the gravity of the situation. God has offered up the forgiveness of EVERY sin of the believer; that infinite debt is paid by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. If we have been forgiven an infinite debt, we must forgive the tiny debt owed to us!
