“The Faith of a Child”

When we come to Scripture, God wants us to read the Word of God with the faith of a child. When a child asks his parents a question, the child believes it, regardless of whether the answer is true or not (but thankfully, every answer God gives is true, because God is truth!) If a child asks his parents, “Why is the sky blue?” the parent might answer something as silly as, “Because the sky feels like being blue!” The child then goes to tell his friends, “Did you know the sky is blue because the sky feels like being blue?” This is the same faith we are to have; if you want to enter into heaven, you must have the faith of a child!
